INTERIOR DESIGN + PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Sometimes all you need to breathe new life into your home is a little refresh!

This couple have been long time residents of East Fort Garry and their home spoke to both their pride of ownership and their commitment to the integrity of their home and community. Unfortunately the poles in their living room interfered with their family and friend gatherings, their inset cabinet didn't function well, and they lacked the warmth of a cosy fireplace in the winter.

We removed a series of original black poles dividing the living and dining rooms, re-purposing and incorporating one of them into the new fireplace/shelving unit. Our hardwood master patched and refinished the beautiful floors (it's like the poles were never there!) throughout the main floor in addition to painting, replacing the cork kitchen flooring and lighting, and adding a small backsplash behind the stove in the kitchen. Our millworkers also took pieces of the former partition between the living room and side door and fashioned it into new integrated drawer fronts for the inset cabinet.

This beautiful mid-century home is now fresh and bright and ready for gatherings of all sizes!
