INTERIOR DESIGN + PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Designed for a blended family of four, the Sandra Project reimagines mid-century style with modern functionality, creating a warm, seamless space for everyday living and entertaining. At its heart, the design preserves the warmth of classic mid-century elements while incorporating contemporary updates to enhance connection and effortless living.
A defining feature of the space is the vertical slat detail, which keeps the kitchen visually connected to the main living space without fully exposing it to the front entry. Thoughtful layout choices—like positioning the sink under the window and incorporating a dining table with extension options—ensure flexibility for both quiet family meals and larger gatherings.
The colour and material palette brings depth and character to the space, with sage, olive, and rust tones adding warmth and a timeless feel. Textured tiles and patterned textiles introduce layers of visual interest, complementing the home’s mid-century roots while keeping it fresh and inviting.
Functionality meets style with smart living solutions throughout. A built-in bench at the entryway offers a convenient landing spot, intentional storage keeps the living room organized, and the TV placement balances aesthetics with practicality. Every detail was designed to support a more seamless, connected way of living—proving that great design isn’t just about how a space looks, but how it feels.
