Passionate about interior spaces for over a decade, Rachel enjoys combining her business and technical skills with her love for design.

Rachel has been interested in interior design from a young age, often shadowing her friend’s mom (an interior designer) to various job sites in junior high. After graduating high school Rachel moved to London, Ontario where she pursued an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design at Fanshawe College before returning to Winnipeg to study Art History for three years and subsequently obtaining a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Interiors from the University of Manitoba.

Rachel has worked in commercial, municipal, and residential design in both London and Winnipeg, however, she’s found her calling in residential design because of the personal connections she’s able to make with her clients, industry reps, and trades.

Rachel advocates for the interior design community, regularly writing blog and social media content to support the competitive industry. She strives to educate the public on the differences between interior decorators and interior designers so that clients are hiring the right person for the job, as well as the importance of choosing a designer with education and experience in the field, the broad range of interior design services available, and how it is essential for home and business owners to begin their renovation project with an interior designer and a plan in place.

Based in Winnipeg with her husband Brian, daughter Stella, and calico cat Charlie, Rachel thrives on creating beautiful interior spaces while leading with integrity, intelligence, and energy. She enjoys collaborating with other designers, guiding and educating clients and the general public, managing projects and using her anal-retentiveness for good - aka attention to detail and advocating for her clients!

When she isn’t designing, Rachel enjoys reading any book she can get her hands on, catching up on her favourite shows, painting, cooking, baking, and most of all, traveling and experiencing the world.

Being a person of integrity doesn’t mean being perfect. It means being authentic.
